Moment of Truth Forensic Polygraph Services was established in 2012 by Gerraad Coetzee.

 

After he completed his schooling, Gerraad enrolled into the South African Police Service.

During his service he was one of the elite members of the “VIP unit” also known as the presidential guard. For four years he personally protected South African presidents FW de Klerk, and the legendary president Nelson Mandela. He also played a vital part in protecting foreign delegations and foreign dignitaries. In 1996 he received an honorary award for bravery from General Kitching. He ended his career in the SAPD in 1998 as a Sergeant.

At the end of 1998 he started his new career in London in the private security industry, where he obtained specialized experience in retail, corporate and other commercial security industries.

In 1999 Gerraad returned to South Africa and generated an outstanding reputation as a security specialist in the private, retail and corporate security industry.

Gerraad qualified as a Forensic Psycho-physiologist, and obtained his professional training by Nathan J. Gordon and Essam Gamal Eldin at the Academy for Scientific Investigative Training, situated in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania (USA).

Gerraad is highly recommended throughout the industry as a polygraph examiner, and his attention to detail during examinations is what helps him deliver extremely accurate results to all his clients.

Gerraad is also a full member of South African Polygraph Federation and The British & European Polygraph Association.
